but on an android phone you are basically handicapped when you try to play a mario game with a touchscreen, but this probably applies to any game in general.

Hell i have a nokia with a qwerty keyboard and i can play super mario land on it pretty well. I can easily keep my finger pressed down on the B button when i play it so i can basically run and jump as if i was using a real controller

honestly who would like a touch keyboard anyways? Even if it's small, i'd rather take a tactile keyboard over a touch keyboard any day.
