Altough it's from 2008 it also has a linux version which is interesting.

the windows version might be a lil hard to find though, try looking it up on youtube. There is one video in which i found a windows version.

And also you cannot export into .gifs so i have to use paint.net for them

Two problems though, if you scale images they are automatically filtered

Kolourpaint is like mspaint basically but you can use transparency with the bucket tool AND IT IS SO EASY.

i sorta hate "online tools". idk why its so hard to find an offline tool

ive been like "i wish there was an offlinepngtools"

However i think i found a good alternative.

yea ive spent a lot of time doing that. in the past of the site ive used a lot of ms paint-paint.net-macos paintbrush- onlinepngtools.com, paint shop pro 5 for some GIF stuff, painttool sai, and photoshop a bit which i am terrible at
