oh thats cool, i always thought it would be cool to have fonts in DOS or textmode

you can also update CPU cycle speed on the fly and with the default configuration you can have .ttf fonts being used in text-mode

i set up shared drives on my 86box and stuff, I even have a win95 86box with several web browsers for testing my website locally (hosted on my main pc)

also did i mention how cool dosbox-x is? I can mount a directory on my local hard drive on startup, and it will show up in windows 98. Of course, it won't update until i reboot but it's amazing. It's like virtualbox guest additions!

idk, as long as you have enough room u should be fine right. back in 2016 or so i used that win98 machine basically as second PC cause it wasn't that bad on the internet back then

yea, i noticed that! 11111... works as the product key for almost everything pre 1997 or so from what i've seen

huh i just found out something funny. So do you know how you can input 111111... as the product key for Windows 95? well it works in plus too!

yea theres also tons of new software on my win98, i also used it as a floppy disk imaging machine back then before i switched to my win7 machine on the network to do that (I also connected my beat up pentium 166 to the network a couple times to image 5.25 disks)
