turns out that in windows xp the start menu text is just a string u can change so i did that a while ago

yeah!

i used resource hacker on a couple programs years ago to change text strings and bitmaps in some programs

one annoying thing about dosbox-x is that since you can't mount drives while you are booted into windows you have to restart it to actually mount any drives or to get the contents to update. But at this point it's a limitation

oh weird. well i guess u can do without wordpad, i mean i barely use it

so my main dos machine motherboard (the one that can't run radtracker) works almost perfectly except the keyboard port is flaky and the ps/2 port is dead but everything else is fine except it can't run radtracker

i've just replaced wordpad with the windows 95 version but it still doesn't work

my main dos machine, the keyboard wasn't working again, so I punched the case and it started working

well probably because all my AT motherboards are 2 steps away from deaths door but whatever

even if I boot into plain dos from a boot disk, one just won't run no matter what
