yea i replaced that failing hdd in this pc with an adata ssd.

huh... i'd link the video right now but i can't find it. I did see it an extremely long time ago though, probably 5 years ago or more. Probably can't even remember the title properly.

this computer originally had a 500gb hard drive, but i started getting data errors and stuff so i figured it was time to upgrade to an ssd anyways. i pretty much only buy 256gb ssds cause theyre the best balance in capacity and price in my opinion. so yea i didint want to fill the ssd with crap from old windows

oh and the windows ram restrictions are stupid. I heard 32 bit windows can use more than 4gbs with PAE extensions or something. Hell, they reinforce restrictions on 64 bit versions of windows. so for example if you need more than 64gb or something you need to get some "Enterprise" edition or whatever.

when i reinstalled, i moved all the stuff onto an external hdd and only some of it got moved back on

some of the files i moved over, but a lot of them are on an external hdd somewhere

aw man, i was just about to ask you wheter or not you experienced data loss so i would know if you still had like old files and stuff on there

sometimes when i dont know how to spell something i jsut type the first letters into google and usually autofill tells me the rest

God i hate it so much when i have to write some word that i never use, so i don't remember it's spelling. So i try to remember how it's said and try and write it based on that. It should work right? Well GUESS WHAT? PEOPLE SAY IT WRONG. So i always have to go online, type the word incorrectly, and then copy the version of the word that is spelled correctly.

except i installed windows 7 32 bit on a 64 bit pc :/ so later when i upgraded the ram and found that "oh wait im on 32 bit windows and cant use the ram"

man, i couldn't even go out and do that deliberately. And this word, "deliberately" brings me to another rant.

i remember folders had file icons, images had folder icons i just idk how i ruined it that bad

yea, no shortcuts worked, so the desktop and start menu were kinda useless. i just filled my desktop with files that had the wrong icon associaitons

i don't even know how that is possible. I MEAN SHORTCUTS ARE SHORTCUTS, LIKE WHAT DID YOU EVEN DO? I can create a completely blank shortcut file but it does literally nothing when i try and open it, how did you get to change it's file type??????
