i was imaging some floppy disks of unknown source (i found them in someone's recycling) and one of the game disks had some harmless and common DOS virus on it apparently

i used to have that antivirus active on my win98 years ago and it "protected" me ONE TIME

also it had some virus utilities... what is the chance of me getting a virus in windows 98?

also i actually get a little bit faster internet at home now, since i got a wired ethernet connection and dont have to use the wifi router that goes "2mbps lol" if you're 10 feet away from it

meanwhile the stupid goddamn windows 98 plus iso is like 500 megabytes or something and includes all of these useless utilities by default

but it's still probably faster than archive.org and to much delight the iso was only ~25mb!

which really doesnt play nice with the ie shell tho, with that giant annoying folder thing on the left side of explorer windows blinding me with annoying white on dark blue contrast against my custom theme

i should just get Windows 98 to work on windows 7 and be done with it instead of changing the themes out of boredom
